The current programme

Mathematics, with room to think.

ThinkFoundry currently offers Secondary 1 and Secondary 2 Mathematics in home-based small groups of 2–6 students in Central Singapore.

Our name is about the way we learn together — a thoughtful foundation that can grow beyond one subject.

A good fit

For students and parents who value a steady start.

For students

Moving into or currently in Secondary 1 or 2, and ready to learn in a thoughtful, steady small-group setting.

For parents

Looking for personal attention and a place to build strong foundations with care.

Our teaching approach

Understand → Practise → Apply

We make space for the idea first, then work through it together before trying something new.

  1. Understand the idea

Start with clear explanations and the thinking behind a concept.

  2. Practise with guidance

Work through questions with support and useful feedback.

  3. Apply it to unfamiliar questions

Explore how the same ideas can help in a new situation.

The small-group difference

More room for every question.

With 2–6 students, there’s space to speak up, think aloud, and learn alongside others. A smaller circle lets teaching respond to what students need in the moment.

Questions belong here

Students have room to ask, revisit, and clarify ideas.

Ideas in conversation

Discussion makes different ways of thinking visible.

Feedback in the moment

Guidance can meet a question while it’s still fresh.

Confidence, gently built

A steady setting makes trying an idea feel easier.

A lesson, at a glance

A familiar rhythm, every step of the way.

A typical lesson moves from settling in to trying ideas independently, with guidance along the way.

  1. 01 Arrive & settle in
  2. 02 Explore a concept
  3. 03 Practise together
  4. 04 Apply independently
  5. 05 Close with a check-in
